Urinary Electrophoretograms Performed by Capillary Electrophoresis: Comparison between Dogs and Cats

نویسندگان

چکیده

Electrophoresis of urine to evaluate different urinary proteins has been used in recent years veterinary medicine, as it can be a useful laboratory tool the early detection kidney damage. However, capillary electrophoresis (UCE) not reported healthy cats. In dogs, reference intervals have established and compared with pathological samples these provide an easily interpretable pattern. The electrophoretogram this study is divided into five fractions (F1–F5) by serum (albumin; alpha1-globulin; alpha2-globulin; beta-globulin; gamma-globulin). Urine from 14 cats were obtained eco-guided cystocentesis. UCE was run all 123 dog electrophoretograms previously published study. Fraction 2 (alpha1-globulin) statistically decreased (G1) dogs (G2). 4 (beta-globulin) augmented canine population 5 (gamma-globulin) No statistical correlation found between each cat’s fractions. results present suggest that patterns are similar ones described dogs. non-invasive new diagnostic normal ones.

Measurement of nephrolithiasis urinary markers by capillary electrophoresis.

A previously developed method for screening organic acidurias by capillary electrophoresis has been validated for oxalate and citrate measurement in urine. Sample pretreatment is minimum, just acidification and centrifugation. Detection is by direct UV. Validation parameters of the method can be considered adequate. Response is linear for both analytes in standards and samples. The assayed rang...

Chiral Separation of Basic and Zwitterionic Drugs by Highly Sulfated Cyclodextrins Using Short-End Injection Capillary Electrophoresis Highly Sulfated Cyclodextrins Using Short-End Injection Capillary Electrophoresis

Due to high resolution power of sulfated cyclodextrins (HS-CDs), utilization of these selectors for chiral resolution of 7 basic and 2 zwitterionic drugs have been examined. Experiments were performed on a HP3DCE instrument equipped with an on-column diode array UV absorbance detector. Fused silica capillaries with an inner diameter of 50 ?m, an outer diameter of 365 ?m, and a total length of 4...

Measurement of urinary oxalate and citrate by capillary electrophoresis and indirect ultraviolet absorbance.

We describe a method for measuring urinary oxalate and citrate with capillary electrophoresis (CE) and indirect ultraviolet absorbance detection. Sample preparation is minimal, requiring an acidification, brief centrifugation, and dilution. The method is rapid, with oxalate and citrate having mean migration times of 4.02 and 4.50 min, respectively. The minimal detectable concentration (signal-t...

phoresis and capillary electrophoresis: a review and comparison of methods

We present a comprehensive review and comparison of the methodologies for increasing sensitivity and resolution of capillary electrophoresis (CE) using online transient isotachophoresis (tITP). We categorize the diverse set of coupled tITP and CE (tITP-CE) methods based on their fundamental principles for disrupting isotachophoretic preconcentration and triggering electrophoretic separation. Ba...
